Château Palmer is one of the great names of Margaux and widely regarded as one of the finest estates on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. The wine is known for its refined and expressive style, typically led by Merlot and supported by Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petit Verdot. The 2021 vintage beautifully reflects the elegance and balance that define Palmer. It shows freshness, aromatic precision, and remarkable finesse, with the structure to evolve gracefully in the cellar over the years.
Tasting Notes Deep garnet in colour with vibrant ruby highlights. The nose opens with aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry, and plum, followed by floral hints of violet and rose. Subtle notes of cedar, graphite, and gentle spice add complexity. On the palate, the wine is silky and layered, with refined tannins and bright freshness. Flavours of cassis, blackberry, and dark chocolate unfold gradually, leading to a long and graceful finish.
