This Barbera d'Asti is meticulously crafted from over 60 hectares of selected vineyards, forming part of the prestigious "Superbarbera" project. The wine's exquisite balance between structural solidity and complex bouquet is achieved by blending grapes from vineyards with diverse soils and microclimates.
After a traditional vinification process, including a 10-day skin maceration and controlled fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. It is then aged for approximately 12 months in small oak barrels, acquiring a multi-layered depth of flavour and character.
Tasting notes In the glass, this Barbera d'Asti displays a deep ruby red color. The bouquet is rich and nuanced, with hints of violet, liquorice, and vanilla. The palate offers a crisp, dry experience with a subtle interplay of vanilla and wild berries, culminating in a lingering finish.
Food pairing Pair this versatile wine with Italian classics like pasta dishes, risotto, or grilled meats. It also complements roasted vegetables and aged cheeses, such as Parmesan.
