This rose, made from Pinot Noir (known as Spatburgunder in Germany), is a beautiful example of a vibrant, fruity rose. The vineyards are situated on steep slopes above the river, surrounded by a picturesque landscape of slate cliffs, wine villages, and winding river bends ‚ typical of the Mosel Valley. The grapes are hand-picked and undergo a short skin contact to achieve this lovely color. Fermentation and aging take place in stainless steel tanks to preserve as much fruitiness as possible.
