Crafted by the prestigious Tenuta Argentiera estate in Bolgheri, Poggio ai Ginepri 2022 captures the soul of the Tuscan coast with a refined balance of structure and finesse. This Super Tuscan blend is a reflection of Argentiera’s dedication to excellence—from meticulously tended vineyards to masterful vinification.
This wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. After the fermentation the wine matures for 8 months in two to three years old French and Hungarian oak barrels.
Tasting Notes Intense and deep ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose is quite fresh and with a touch of plum and a whim of spices. The palate is sweet and has a well-balanced structure; the tannin is present, but in harmony with the wines freshness. The ending is slightly grassy and tends to delicate spicy notes.
Food Pairing Pairs perfectly with lamb, poultry and blue cheese.
