Maison Jambon Domaine des Maison Neuves Brouilly 2024

Maison Jambon Domaine des Maison Neuves Brouilly 2024. The Domaine Des Maisons Neuves Brouilly is made from 100% Gamay. The grapes are manually harvested and carefully sorted on-site, ensuring only the best fruit is selected. Winemaking follows the traditional Beaujolais method , involving a semi-carbonic maceration of around 10 days. This process enhances the primary fruit aromas and imparts a silky structure to the wine. The ageing process takes place in stainless steel tanks. The vineyard is located on steep slopes with granite soils , which contributes to the wine's freshness and aromatic precision.

Tasting Notes
This wine displays a bright, clear, ruby hue. The nose is expressive, bursting with crunchy red berries (wild strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants) , enhanced by floral hints (peony, violet) and a subtle spicy note. On the palate, the wine is fresh and round. This Brouilly is well-balanced , has fine-grained tannins , and a finish supported by lively acidity. The wine has an ageing potential of 3 to 5 years.

Food Pairings
It is a perfect match for white meats , such as duck confit or shepherd's pie. It shines alongside a fine charcuterie board , mushroom risotto , or a mild fish curry. For a smooth finish to the meal, it can be served with soft cheeses (such as Brie or Saint-Marcellin) or a red fruit tart.
