Grape Varieties / Vinification
This wine is a blend of 80% Garnacha and 20% Syrah. The grapes are harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. To optimally preserve the fresh fruit of the Garnacha grape, fermentation takes place for 15 days at a controlled temperature of no more than 28°C. For added complexity, 30% of the Garnacha is aged for three months in barrels. The wine comes from the Calatayud region in Spain, where the vines grow on steep slopes with rough slate soils. 

Tasting Notes
The wine has an intense cherry red color. The nose reveals the typical characteristics of Garnacha, with rich aromas of ripe red fruit, plums, and figs. This fruitiness is complemented by a subtle hint of black pepper and a distinct minerality, which refers to the slate soils of the vineyards.

Food Pairing
The wine pairs well with a lamb stew, served with carrots, zucchini, and a couple of black olives.
