Joaquin Rebolledo Godello Valdeorras 2024

Joaquin Rebolledo Godello Valdeorras 2024. This wine is made from 100% Godello grapes, sourced from vineyards in Valdeorras. The grapes are hand-harvested, then destemmed and gently crushed upon arrival at the winery. After a brief cold maceration on the skins, the juice is gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature to preserve the wine’s freshness and aromatic expression. It then undergoes a short ageing period on the lees (sur lie), adding extra body and complexity.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a straw yellow color with a touch of green. On the nose, it offers an expressive bouquet of ripe stone fruits such as peach and apricot, complemented by citrus, apple, pear, and a subtle hint of fennel. On the palate, the wine is round and slightly creamy, with a fine balance of fresh acidity, smoothness, and a gentle bitterness. The finish is long and fruity. 

Food Pairing
An ideal wine to pair with fish, shellfish, salads, and creamy cheeses. Thanks to its freshness and mouth-filling texture, it is highly versatile at the table. Its bright acidity and fruity character also make it a great match for dishes with Asian influences.
