Colheita is a Port from a single harvest and ages for at least 7 years in oak barrels. The grape varieties used to make this Port are: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cao.

Tasting Notes
These are aged Tawnies that have aged for at least 7 years in oak barrels and come from a single harvest year. Due to this oak aging, the port comes into light contact with oxygen. The port undergoes oxidation, losing some of its color and acquiring the aroma and flavor of vanilla, spices, raisins, figs, and caramel.

Food Pairing
The port pairs excellently with chocolate desserts, caramel, and aged cheeses, including blue cheeses.
