From the esteemed vineyards of Pouilly-Fumé in France’s Loire Valley, Domaine Salmon’s “Clos des Criots” is a single-vineyard expression that captures everything distinctive about this appellation. Crafted from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the wine reflects its terroir—especially the limestone and flint soils—and the winemaker’s care to show purity, minerality, and a touch of smoky depth.
Tasting notes The Pouilly-Fume "Clos des Criots" has a straw yellow colour with golden highlights. It features an intense, floral and complex nose. A mineral note with a hint of smoke brings out all of the substance of this exceptional terroir. Notes of citrus are revealed on the palate with grapefruit in the finish adding a touch of freshness.
