Damilano Barolo Serralunga d'Alba

his Barolo, from the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The vineyard, situated on a soil of sand, loam, and clay, enjoys a perfect southern exposure. Fermentation lasts for 20 days at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, the wine matures for 24 months in large oak barrels and then for another 12 months in the bottle in Damilano's cellars.

Tasting Notes
On the palate, the wine is full, juicy, and harmonious. The taste is powerful and concentrated without being heavy. You can taste fruity notes of raspberries, red currants, cherries, and plums, combined with nuances of red orange peel and wild roses. The elegant, precise tannins and the refined acidity form a beautiful, compact whole. This Barolo is very layered and impressive.
