Grape varieties / Vinification
This 'Red Golden Italian blend' is a careful selection from the most suitable parcels in Southern Italy, crafted as a tribute to founder Giovanni Cielo. The wine is a blend of Primitivo, Negroamaro, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification takes place at controlled temperatures, with the wine undergoing an extended maceration on the skins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for 24 months to develop an elegant structure and soft, silky tannins. 

Tasting note
The wine features an intense, ruby-red colour. The nose opens with a bouquet of ripe Mediterranean fruit, wild blackberry jam, and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet velvet-smooth. Its powerful structure is harmoniously balanced by the soft tannins, culminating in a persistent finish with notes of dark chocolate. 

Food pairing
Due to its rich and powerful structure, this wine is excellently suited to accompany slow-cooked red meat, game, and rich, herb-infused roasts. In addition, the wine pairs beautifully with extra-matured cheeses or a piece of dark chocolate.
