For over 50 years, Jean Gautreau shaped Sociando-Mallet into one of Bordeaux’s most respected estates. With vision and passion, he expanded the vineyard with the finest terroirs, creating wines that are authentic, proud, and vibrant—just like their creator. Since his passing in 2019, his daughter Sylvie has carried on this remarkable legacy.
Tasting notes Firm, bright, crisp and fresh, with blackberry, tobacco, smoke and spicy cassis character, the wine is full bodied, tannic and should age well.
