Traces its origins back to the 17th century and became a separate estate at the beginning of the 18th century. In the 19th century, the Arnaud family established Clinet’s reputation as a remarkable Pomerol estate, recognized for producing high-quality wines. Château Clinet is located in the heart of Pomerol, on the famous plateau where the world’s greatest Merlot wines are born. It is a small estate, but with a remarkable reputation. The vineyards of Clinet are planted with a high proportion of Merlot and a small share of Cabernet Sauvignon, which is unusual for Pomerol. This distinctive choice creates a unique style where ripe power and refined elegance go hand in hand.

Tasting Note
It shows a deep purple-black color and reveals bold aromas of ripe black plums, blackberries, and blueberries, with undertones of raspberries, licorice, and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, harmonious finish. 

Food Pairing
A classic match for the Clinet Pomerol is a roast leg of lamb with rosemary, garlic, and thyme. The wine also pairs very well with beef tenderloin with a rich mushroom sauce, or duck breast with a cherry-based sauce.
