Tasting notes Amarone Centenero shows a deep ruby red colour in the glass. The bouquet is expressive and layered, with aromas of ripe plum, black cherry and wild berry jam, lifted by floral hints of red rose. Subtle notes of coffee, cinnamon and dark chocolate add warmth and complexity. On the palate it is full bodied and smooth, with silky tannins and a well balanced structure. The finish is long and persistent, marked by lingering red fruit and cocoa.
Food pairing This Amarone is a superb partner for rich and flavourful dishes. It pairs beautifully with roasted or braised beef, wild boar, Moroccan spiced lamb and pork tenderloin with plums.
