This wine is composed mainly of Cabernet Sauvignon, a significant portion of Merlot, and a small touch of Petit Verdot. It is the second wine of the renowned estate Les Carmes Haut-Brion, located in the prestigious wine region of Pessac-Léognan in Bordeaux. What makes this wine unique is the fermentation of whole grape clusters. This process contributes to a firm structure and pronounced fruity aromas and flavors. The wine matures for 18 to 24 months in a combination of new and one-year-old French oak barrels and concrete tanks.

This wine impresses with aromas of dark fruits like blackcurrants and plums, subtle notes of spices, and a hint of cedarwood.
