The vines have an average age of 35 years. Benjamin de Beauregard is the second wine of Chateau Beauregard. The soil contains pebbles and clay. A small area of the vineyard also contains sand, situated near the Catusseau plateau. The harvest is done manually.
Tasting notes
Le Benjamin de Beauregard Pomerol is clear with a ruby red colour. Soft in the nose with the perfume of cherry pie, hints of capsicum, caramel, boiled cherries and plums, houmous and herbs. A full wine with a lot of taste. Especially a lot of fruit, with a touch of vegetables. The finish also has a lot of fruitiness. The wine is well balanced.
Food pairing
Delicious in combination with red meat, game dishes and several cheeses.
