Harvested from select vineyards in the Bridge Pa and Mangatahi districts of Hawke’s Bay, this Chardonnay features fruit from Mendoza and Clone 15 blocks. All grapes were hand-harvested to ensure pristine quality and purity. The vines are trained using vertical shoot positioning and managed with open canopies under the Sustainable Winegrowing NZ (SWINZ) program, with zero chemical residues.
A portion of the wine underwent indigenous fermentation in barrel, while the remainder was fermented with a selected Chardonnay yeast. The wine was then aged in barrel for 11 months, with minimal intervention before bottling to retain its natural character.
Tasting Notes
The nose offers rich biscuit notes and lifted oak spice, layered with aromas of summer stone fruits, citrus peel, and floral undertones. On the palate, it’s generous and textured, with ripe stone fruit, well-integrated oak, and a creamy mouthfeel balanced by fresh acidity and a long, persistent finish.

With its subtle vanilla and oak complexity, this wine pairs beautifully with white meats, roast poultry, and small game dishes.
