Crafted in the prestigious Montalcino region, renowned for its world-class Sangiovese wines, Pietroso Rosso di Montalcino offers a more approachable style while maintaining exceptional quality. The Sangiovese grapes are handpicked in the first week of October to ensure optimal ripeness. Fermentation occurs naturally with wild yeasts, followed by a 20-day maceration at a controlled temperature of 30-33°C, with frequent pressing to extract rich flavors. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, enhancing its complexity, and an additional 6 months in the bottle for perfect balance.

Tasting notes
A wine with a clear, lively ruby red color. The nose is intense and persistent, offering enticing aromas of small red fruits and cherry. On the palate, the wine is dry, warm, and slightly tannic, with a pleasant aromatic finish.
