This particular Chardonnay comes from a region revered for its Chardonnay. With a terroir created and blessed by Nature herself to nurture the very finest of soft, buttery golden nuggets of Chardonnay grape year in, year out, itâaos little wonder this quirk of God-given fate has made a few shy and reclusive Chardonnay winemakers from these parts, quietly famous.
Tasting notes Itâaos all high heels and short skirt. A delightfully soft mouth feel, with a touch of butterscotch then subtle, tropical notes. Pineapple and melon fruit flirtiness on the palate. With a slight buttery finish, and crisp acidity for balance. Very slippery down the throat, indeed.
Food pairing Super with baked and grilled seafood and seafood with creamy sauces.
