Feuerheerd's, established in 1815 by the German trader Dietrich Matthias Feuerheerd, has gained a stellar reputation over the years for producing exceptional wines, particularly its Vintage Ports. In addition to their renowned Port wine production, Feuerheerd also crafts remarkable dry red wines, including the outstanding Douro Reserva.

What sets this wine apart is its vinification process, showcasing the expertise of Feuerheerd's winemaking. The Douro Reserva is meticulously crafted from three exceptional grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz (also known as Tempranillo). After the vinification process, the wine is aged for a period of 12 months in carefully selected Port barrels, imparting a distinct character and complexity before it is bottled and made available for sale.

With its deep Bordeaux color, this wine delights the senses with enticing aromas of plum and cherry. The maturation in old casks lends the wine smooth tannins, contributing to its overall refinement and balance.
