This beautiful red wine is made from Primitivo grapes, which are manually harvested. The fermentation takes place using selected yeasts under controlled temperature. The wine is then matured in steel tanks.
Tasting notes Notes of ripe plums, cherry jam and tobacco characterize the bouquet of this pure varietal Primitivo from the Apulia region, complemented by noticeable hints of cocoa, vanilla and coffee due to twelve months of aging in wooden casks. The Conte di Campiano Primitivo di Manduria Riserva is velvety and sumptuous on the palate, with a fine spiciness, full body, a little sweetness and nicely integrated tannins.
Food pairing This ruby-red wine from Apulia is an ideal accompaniment to red meat and game as well as savoury starters.
