At Farnese Vini, the production of Cinque Autoctoni is a testament to their dedication to preserving and showcasing the unique terroir and indigenous grape varieties of the Abruzzo region. This wine is a true representation of the cultural and historical richness of Italian winemaking.

Cinque Autoctoni is a blend of five indigenous grape varieties: Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera. Each grape variety is carefully selected and handpicked from the vineyards, ensuring the highest quality of the grapes.

The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, giving it a rich and complex flavour profile. 

Taste description
The wines has a beautiful garnet color. In the nose complex aromas of ripe cherries, plums and black berries come forward with a hint of tobacco and toast. In the mouth the wine is full bodied with nice tannine yet soft and full of fruits with a hint of vanilla and chocolate followed by a long lasting finish.

Food pairing
Excellent with rich first courses, red meat and seasoned cheese.
